Being a parent is the most, challenging, stressful, enjoyable, pull your hair out, touch the moon…I can go on and on…experience you can ever imagine! Every day is different and every day – without fail – I learn something new.
Some things I’ve nailed *pat on the back – yay me!* and some things I’ve yet to figure out, like getting the kids to listen all the time…*sigh*.
At the end of the day, I love being a mother! And although I do remember life before having children, I would never want to turn back the time…well maybe for a weekend or two…if you know what I mean. 🙂
Raising kids is challenging. Raising them the right way – you know to be respectable human beings, with great manners, determination, goals, and overall moral values that I deem to be necessary for their success into adulthood…is definitely not easy.
Family is one of the most, wait!…possibly the most important things in my life! Family makes me feel loved, needed, and whole.
I strive to always give my kids truthful and honest answers, and I try my darndest my to talk to them with respect and in a normal tone (no using baby tone after the 1st year!). Yes, I am guilty of losing my temper and yelling, but hey…I’m human after all and they sure know how to push the right buttons.
In this section I will share with you:
- My own techniques to make life with baby/children easier
- My top favorite kids’ things from stores, web, and everywhere in between that helped me keep my sanity
- Some thoughts on motherhood, life with kids, and anything else that comes to mind to empower you as a parent
Cheers to parenthood!
